Revising a finished video

Revise this video on a finished video's page changes it without starting over.

  1. Tick what needs fixing: a pronunciation, a visual, the script, or any combination.
  2. For a pronunciation, enter each word as it is written in the script and how it should sound. For a visual, pause the video where the problem shows, choose Use the current time, and describe the change; images can be added or taken out here too. For the script, edit the wording; the page shows how much has changed.
  3. Read the minutes the revision uses, download the current video if it is worth keeping, and tick the box to confirm the revised video replaces it.
  4. The current video stays available while the revision is made. An email arrives when the revised video is ready, and it replaces the earlier one with the same storage date.

A revision keeps the video's voice, music and length. A script edit can change up to 40% of the script; bigger changes, or a different subject, are a new video. A video can be revised as many times as needed.
